UPCYCLING WOOD FROM CRAFT TO AROMA OIL

Wood is first harvested sustainably for KIKUSUMI tools like Aomori Hiba and Kiso Hinoki.  At the lumber mills the core of the tree is utilized for cutting boards and knife handles.  The outer parts of the tree trunk are turned into chips and threads.  Wood chips are soaked in water then distilled to obtain KIFLORA essentials oils used aroma oil, water and mixed with ocean salt.  Wood threads are used in packaging for both KIKUSUMI and KIFLORA brands.
